About Me
Good day to fellow investors, my name is Jeffrey Guan, currently 41 years old, one of the founders of Pacific Wise Sdn Bhd.
Pacific Wise is an online office supplies supplier in Klang Valley, founded in 1999 by three Brothers.
In the beginning, my eldest brother had a sales channel for paper products, so he bought some paper products to sell, which the motive at that time is for purely trying to pay some living expenses. Later when he felt that this business has a promising future, he invited me to start a business together. I was only 23 years old and didn’t think much at that time. I thought it would be right to follow my eldest brother advice and footstep. Since then, I had been in the stationery industry for 18 years.
At that time, our main product was computer paper, which was wholesaled to stationery vendors. At that time, the availability and speed of information was not as developed as today, thus there were not many suppliers that wholesale to stationery vendors. This allowed us to gain some market shares and the business starts taken off from there…
When E-Commerce was just beginning to emerge and developed in the year 2010, I had established our first E-Commerce website together with one of my middle school classmate, Kevin. Kevin had a professional IT degree and working experience in a large company, which we utilized his technological expertise to build our own website. Our customers reacted positively towards the website that we established. Of course, we had also failed along the way, improved along the way, and gradually gained a foothold… Until now, it has become the fourth e-commerce platform that we had developed.
During the process, we must withstand the cold water poured by others on to us, the tears we shed that will not understood by others, and the endless sweat that we are sweating. However, we insist on believing that as long as we give our best to serve our customers, build an effective team, continue to improve and learn, follow the market trend, utilizing all our resources efficiently and effectively, do the right thing well… Then success will not be far away from us!

Pacific Wise is an office supplies supplier focusing on solving customer’s pain points. We always ensure that we follow a set of concepts to ensure customers had a pleasant experience in doing their business with us. The concepts are:
1) Focuses on speed - fast delivery, fast response, fast operational process.
2) Peace of mind – guaranteed authentic, guaranteed exchange, guaranteed refund.
3) Simple - easy to order, easy to pay, easy to inquire.
4) Different - more choices, more discounts, more pleasure.
To ensure customers have a pleasant online shopping experience and becoming our repeat buyers, we had been continuously optimizing the internal operational process flow and integrating IT systems into our operational processes to reduce the probability of error, thereby increasing customer’s satisfaction.
In addition, Pacific Wise also makes good use of customer data and using funnel product strategy to ensure products needed are always on the shelves and reduce unnecessary inventory. We also expand our product categories so that customers will be more loyal to our business. Utilizing the data and strategies, we are able to achieve “more than customers know about themselves” business model.
From year 2016 to 2019, Pacific Wise's revenue performance has been growing at a rate of double-digit percentage. In year 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, we are restricted and unable to operate before and after the MCO period. However, the overall results were still better than in 2018. Coming to the beginning of 2021, the revenue performance can be said to be outstanding, reaching an average of 1.3 million per month. Yet, we still have many plans failed to keep up with the changes, and FMCO reimposed on June. Of course, we firmly believe that consumer’s consumption habits have undergone tremendous changes due to this pandemic from offline to online. Hence, online shopping is an inevitable trend...
Therefore, the right expansion strategy must be done at the right time. Pacific Wise is about to expand out of Klang Valley in 2022! However, existing operating models and resources must not be quickly replicated. New profitable business models must be mixed with existing resources so that risks can be further reduced and a full range of sales channels can be quickly established.
The first and second phases are already in progress. To enter the third phase, we must first help stationery companies that are willing to cooperate and adapt to the digitalization of operational process, integrate supply channels, analyse operation and management’s big data, let them be ahead of their local competitors, then Pacific Wise will win and get the contracts of large companies, and everyone will share the profits of the contract and create a “three-winners” model. As long as franchisees are interested in entering other states, Pacific Wise will happily cooperate and join forces to enter every state in Malaysia.
At present, the Pacific Wise team has a total of 50+ people, from three races, with an average age of 28 years old. Although everyone comes from different places and different backgrounds, we all uphold strongly the company's six core values and make good use of the merit point management system to achieve mutual benefit, grow together, and giving our strengths in our work.
In 2018, we are honoured to be the winner of the 2nd Asia Pacific Crown Gold Award organized by the Alliance of Asia Pacific Stationery Associations-Excellent Information and Technology Application Award. This award can verify our efforts we strive and put in to E-Commerce for many years.
Today, we are launching the Pacific Wise financing plan to raise up to RM1 million. The main purpose for this crowdfunding is to implement our business model, recruit and train talents, optimize existing management system and network technology, and market promotions. We hope to get your support.

刚开始只是大哥拥有了纸品的销售渠道,就进了一些货来卖,纯粹是想赚点生活费,后来觉得这行有前景,大哥就找了我一起创业。当时我只有23岁,那时候的我也没想这么多,心想跟着大哥一起做就是对的,殊不知就这样踏入了文具行业已有18年之久。
那时我们的主要的产品是电脑纸,专批发给文具商。当时的信息传播没那么发达,批发给文具商的供应商也不多,这就让我们拿下了一些市场的分额,也开始越做越好……
2010年正值电子商务刚刚萌芽,我就与中学同学,Kevin一起建立了我们的第一个电子商务网站。由于Kevin拥有专业的IT学历与在大公司的操作经验,于是我们把这项技术应用在自家的网站,很快的我们也顺利地得到客户们的青睐。当然我们也是一路的跌倒,一路的改进,渐渐地站稳脚步……直到现在己经是第4个电子商务平台了。
在这段过程中,我们必须承受别人泼的冷水,不被理解的泪水,自身也流不完的汗水。然而,我们坚持相信:只要提供好的服务给客户,建立有执行力的团队,不断提升与学习,顺着市场的趋势,善用各方面的资源,把对的事情做好,成功——就离我们不远了!

3. 以简为易 - 易订购,易付款,易查询。

为了让客户有愉快的网购体验,成为高频的回头客。我们也一直不断地优化内部操作流程与各方面系统连接,减少出错机率,从而提高客户的满意度。
除此之外,Pacific Wise 也善用客户的订购数据,漏斗式地将产品上架,以减低不必要的库存,再裂变式产品扩张,让顾客对我们的平台更忠实,从而做到 “比顾客更了解顾客” 的经营模式。
从2016年到2019年,Pacific Wise 业绩都是以双位数的百分比在成长,但在2020年爆发了疫情,MCO 期间前后都不能营运,可是总成绩还是比2018年好。来到了2021年头,业绩可说是前所未有的好,平均每月都达到1.3million 。只是很多计划都赶不上变化,6月又迎来了FMCO。当然我们坚定地认为,消费者的消费习惯已经养成巨大的变化,从线下走上线上,网购是必然的趋势……
所以,要在对的时间做对的扩展。2022年Pacific Wise 即将冲出Klang Valley!但是以现有的营运摸式与资源决不能快速复制,新的盈利商业模式必须混合现有的资源,这样才能降低风险,以便更快速建立全方位的销售渠道。
第1与第2阶段现已在进行着,但要进入第3阶段,首先必须帮助乐意合作的文具业者数码化作业流程,整合货源渠道,分析大数据经营管理,让他们先在当地领先他们的竞争对手,再由Pacific Wise 拿下大企业的合同,大家共享合同盈利,制造3赢模式。只要加盟商有意进军其它州属,Pacific Wise 也很乐意配合,强强联手,进军全马各州。
